The CAMDY Group has been secured to locate a professional and experienced Bookkeeper for a growing electrical contracting company located in Blue Springs, MO. This position will be responsible for maintaining proper financial records through managing day-to-day financial activities. The Bookkeeper will report to the CEO and work closely with the office manager to maintain and manage company financial processes and procedures. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of three years of managing office financials and accounting experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Managing payroll processes
• Managing accounts payables and accounts receivables
• Invoicing
• Produce job costing reports
• Monthly whips reports for all projects
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage and maintain tax information
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
• Administrative support to CEO and office staff
• Client and customer service
• Front office support
Skill and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred)
• Allocations experience
• Microsoft Office : Intermediate Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
• 3+ Years accounting experience
• MUST be able to complete end of month reporting
• MUST have experience with Accounting software (SAGE, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Understanding of GAAP compliance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Meticulous eye for detail
• Minimum $37,500 Annually

Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Account Analysis
• Account Reconciliation
• Data Entry/Coding Client Data
• Preparation of Payroll and Related Returns
• Preparation of Journal Entries
• Preparation of Sales Tax Returns
• Monthly Financial Reporting / Preparing Compiled Financial Statements
• Preparation of Individual / Business Tax Returns
• Supervise Staff Accountants
• Other Projects / Duties As Required

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience with individual/business tax preparation, payroll, accounting write-up, and financial statement preparation. An eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task are a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProSeries, QuickBooks and Sage (Peachtree) or software equivalents is strongly desired. Preferred candidates will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
